What is a bad design? Recolors!

Recolor, Amy Rose.

What makes a design good, or bad? Generally, people view it differently, which is great. But what makes them like it?  The color, Design, meaning? or what makes them dislike it? I got one that I really… really believe is bad, what is it you ask? Simple.. Recolors. A prime example of a recolor would be in the sonic series.  I find them generally bad. Why? Because, not only is a re-color a violation of the known copyright, to said character, in this case, Amy Rose from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. But it also just shows how lazy someone can be. Now if a person can’t draw, that’s different, at least they can admit it. But taking a recolor is just plain lazy, uncreative and much more.. Why do people feel the need to take an image, recolor it, and say that it’s their own character when it’s not? The Original and one that is protected under copy right is Amy Rose, The PINK hedgehog. The recolor, is the horrid, blue which looks done in MS Paint.. seriously…
